Ikatan Guru Taman Kanak – Kanak Indonesia (IGTKI) dan Persatuan Guru Republik Indonesia (PGRI) gelar latihan manasik haji cilik. Kegiatan tersebut dilakukan di lapangan Kelurahan Kayu Merah, Kecamatan Ternate Selatan, Kota Ternate, pada (19/10/2017). Dalam kegiatan itu, melibatkan peserta didik kurang Iebih 650 orang dari PAUD, TK dan RA Se-Kota Ternate, Maluku Utara.
"Kegiatan ini dilakukan rutin setiap tahun, bertujuan untuk meningkatkan nilai-nilai dan norma-norma agama yang kuat sejak dini."ujar Dwi Widiawaty, Ketua Panitia Kegiatan.
Maka melalui program ini diharapkan anak-anak dapat mengenal dan mengerti tata cara melakukan kegiatan haji. Serta pelaksanaan kegiatan ini agar bisa memahami materi pembelajaran secara langsung.
Sementara itu, Ibrahim Muhammad, Kepala Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kota Ternate, mengapresiasi kepada IGTKI dan PGRI Kota Ternate, serta berterima kasih atas inisiatif kepada seluruh kepala sekolah, Guru PAUD, TK dan RA Se-Kota Ternate. Dan harapannya, kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif dalam Pembentukan karakter anak-anak di usia dini.

Serta agar anak-anak mengetahui bagaimana suasana beragama, dan bagaimana menanamkan nilai-nilai spritualitas, mengingat ruang modernitas yang semakin tak terkendali. Untuk itu, maka dengan pembelajaran seperti ini kedepan anak-anak akan lebih baik. Today, I went to the beach front with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed.
