Mendekati Pemilihan Umum (Pemilu) 2019, Panitia Pengawas Pemilu Kabupaten Jombang adakan Sosialisasi Pengawasan Pertisipatif Pemilu 2019 di Hotel Yusro, Jumat (29/12/2017).
Dalam acara tersebut dihadiri langsung anggota Komisioner Bawaslu Provinsi Jawa Timur, Aang Kunaifi SH MH serta beberapa perwakilan Partai Politik peserta Pemilu 2019, dan beberapa organisasi masyarakat dan Mahasiswa di Kabupaten Jombang.
Dalam Sosialisasi Pengawasan Partisipatif yang dilakukan Panwaslu, Komisioner Bawaslu Provinsi Jawa Timur Aang Kunaifi SH MH. Berharap agar seluruh masyarakat ikut aktif dalam pengawasan Pemilihan Umum di tahun 2019 mendatang.
“Targetan agenda ini adalah, semakin banyak masyarakat yang mau terlibat dalam pengawasan partisipatif. Sebab, itu bisa mengikis oknum-oknum yang berkeinginan melakukan pelanggaran pemilu,”ucap Aang Kunaifi.
Dalam materi yang disampaikan pada Sosialisasi Pengawasan Partisipatif tersebut, bahwa identifikasi potensi pelanggaran dan pencegahan dapat diawasi dalam Indeks Kerawanan Pemilu (IKP) dengan cara mengukur potensi kerawanan dan identifikasi karakteristik daerah serta rekomendasi pencegahan.
Sementara, dalam rangka pengawasan pemilu ada yang dinamakan Pusat Pengawasan Partisipatif. Yakni Pengawasan Berbasis IT (GOWASLU), Pojok Pengawasan, Forum Warga dan Saka Adhyasta Pemilu, Pengabdian Masyarakat serta Media Sosial dan juga Gerakan Pengawasan Partisipatif Pemilu.
Dengan beberapa materi Sosialisasi Pengawasan Partisipatif Pemilu 2019, agar seluruh lapisan masyarakat bisa memahami perihal pengawasan dan bagi peserta pemilu tidak melakukan pelanggaran-pelanggaran pemilu.
