Pasalnya, Korban yang memiliki toko kasur, bantal serta menerima jahitan yang berada di Desa Kepuhkembang, Kecamatan Peterongan, Jombang,hanya tinggal sendirian. Korban juga jarang bertetangga dan mempunyai kepribadian yang tertutup. Disamping itu, keluarga korban jarang mengunjungi ke toko nya, sehingga dengan meninggalnya korban ini tak diketahui oleh keluarga.
“Kasus ini sudah kita tangani bersama tim Infatis dari Polres Jombang. Dan jenazah korban sudah dibawa ke RSUD dengan mobil patroli guna lakukan otopsi. “beber, Kapolsek Peterongan, AKP Mintarto, (07/10/2017).
Masih menurut Mintarto, untuk sementara ini belum bisa untuk menyimpulkan penyebab kematian korban. Dan meninggalnya korban pertama kali diketahui oleh tetangganya, dengan adanya bau menyengat yang berada di dalam toko.”tambahnya
‘Sriyadi (56) tetangga korban mengatakan bahwa awalnya saya mencium bau menyengat beberapa hari dengan aroma aneh. Dan kebetulan rumahnya ada dibelakang toko milik korban. Dan penasaran dengan bau tersebut, akhirnya ia mencari-cari dan hasilnya menemukan bahwa bau tersebut berada didalam toko.”tukasnya
Dan untuk keluarga korban sendiri jarang ke tempat toko ini. Tetangga korban pun tak pernah melihat anak beserta istrinya datang kesini. Dengan kerenggangan hubungan dengan keluarga, sehingga korban meninggal pun tak tahu. (dik)
