Maraknya rokok ilega yang ada di mojokerto membuat petugas bea cukai terus melancarkan aksinya. Sampai pada tahun 2017 barang bukti yang berhasil di kumpulkan sebanyak 2.339.435 batang rokok. Barang sitaan tersebut di dapat dari informasi masyarakat yang ada di pasuruan.
Kepala kantor pengawasan dan pelayanan bea cukai mengatakan ” barang yang kita musnahkan ini adalah hasil penindakan selama tahun 2017 ” terang budi kismulyono pada rabu 4/10/2017.
Pemusnahan barang bukti yang di lakukan di halaman kantor bea cukai pasuruan sempat mengalami ledakan beruntung tidak ada korban dalam hal tersebut.
Sampai dengan hari ini kerugian akibat dari adanya cukai palsu mencapai Lebih dari 1 milyar rupiah.
Budi dalam hal ini juga mengatakan selama 3 tahun ini pihaknya sempat melakukan 61 kali kegiatan. (suf)
