Penganugerahan Desa Wisata Terbaik ini diberikan Kemenparekraf dalam puncak program ADWI 2023 di kawasan Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), Jakarta, Minggu (27/8/2023) malam. Desa Ketapanrame sukses mengungguli 75 desa dari seluruh Indonesia yang ada dalam daftar nominasi, termasuk tujuh di antaranya dari Jawa Timur.
Atas kabar baik ini, Kepala Dinas Kebudayaan, Pariwisata, Pemuda, dan Olahraga (Disbudparpora) Kabupaten Mojokerto, Norman Handitho mengaku bangga dengan prestasi yang berhasil diraih Desa Ketapanrame.
“Tentunya kami bangga (penghargaan Desa Wisata Terbaik), karena Ketapanrame merupakan bagian Desa Wisata dari Kabupaten Mojokerto,” ucap Norman saat dihubungi LenteraInspiratif.id, Senin (28/8/2023).
Norman juga membocorkan poin penting yang dimiliki Desa Ketapanrame sukses menyabet desa wisata terbaik. Salah satunya, pengelolaan kelembagaan Desa yang kuat dan solid.
“Selain potensi alam yang mumpuni, kelembagaan Desa Ketapanrame ini sangat kuat, khususnya BUMDes-nya. Itu menjadi salah satu poin utama menangngya Desa Ketapanrame,” paparnya.
Norman mengaku jika di Kabupaten Mojokerto memiliki banyak potensi yang bisa dikembangkan menjadi wisata. Ia berharap desa-desa lain bisa mengikuti jejak Desa Ketapanrame yang berhasil menjadi Desa Wisata Terbaik.
“Banyak potensi (di Kabupaten Mojokerto) baik itu wisata alam maupun buatan. Kami berharap agar desa lain bisa menciptakan hal serupa dengan Desa Ketapanrame meskipun dengan potensi yang berbeda,” ujar Norman.
Norman meyakini dengan kolaborasi yang solid antara pemerintah desa dan Pemkab bisa melahirkan desa wisata lainnya yang memiliki kualitas.
“Jika potensi ini dikelola dengan serius dengan pemerintah desa dan support dari Pemkab maka akan melahirkan wisata desa yang berkualitas ditingkat regional maupun internasional,” tukasnya. (Diy)
