Lenterainspiratif.id | Mojokerto – Mendekati pesta demokrasi tahun 2024 Bakesbangpol Kota Mojokerto menekankan masyarakat agar bisa menghargai perbedaaan dan menjaga persatuan. Hal itu diungkapkan Plt Kepala Bakesbangpol Soegeng Rijadi Prajitno dalam sosialisasi pilkada di Kantor Kecamatan Magersari, Senin (28/8/2023) malam.
Dalam sosialisasi tersebut Kepala Bakesbangpol Soegeng Rijadi Prajitno mengatakan agar masyarakat menggunakan hak pilihnya dalam pemilukada dan saling menghargai perbedaan pendapat dalam menggunakan hak pilihnya.
” Dari pesta demokrasi yakni pilkada akan menentukan masa depan bangsa untuk lima tahun kedepan. Sehingga bisa kita laksanakan tugas-tugas pembangunan secara berkesinambungan,” Katanya.
Tak hanya itu, ia juga menyampaikan sekilas alur pemilukada yang akan dihadapi masyarakat. Dia menegaskan, November nanti menjadi tahap awal masyarakat mulai menentukan hak pilih mereka.
“Pemilukada sendiri, secara serentak akan dilaksanakan pada November nanti di Indonesia. Artinya, ada bulan tersebut dianggap sebagai penetapan pemilukada,” terang Soegeng.
Kegiatan yang diikuti perwakilan tokoh masyarakat dari enam kelurahan dan melibatkan Satpol PP dan KPU Kota Mojokerto sebagai narasumber sosialisasi.
” Harus ada diskusi, karena ini bukan menyangkut persoalan kecil, namun bersangkutan dengan masa depan Kota Mojokerto di masa mendatang,” Tutupnya. (Roe)
